Product information "Xpecia Tablets for Men – Biotin, Zinc & Saw Palmetto Extract, 60 Tablets"
Xpecia Tablets for Men is a food supplement containing biotin, zinc, pantothenic acid and folic acid, complemented with saw palmetto and ginkgo biloba extract, keratin, and the amino acids L-cystine and L-methionine. Biotin and zinc contribute to the maintenance of normal hair. One pack contains 60 tablets of 600 mg and, taken as two tablets a day, lasts 30 days.
Looking after your hair from the outside is only half the story. Your body needs the right nutrients every day, too, to support normal hair. That’s what Xpecia for Men is for: one tablet in the morning, one in the evening, each after a meal. Nothing more complicated than that.
To be clear: Xpecia is not a medicine and contains neither finasteride nor minoxidil. What we can promise you is set out below, nutrient by nutrient – nothing more and nothing less.
Key benefits
- Biotin and zinc contribute to the maintenance of normal hair – with 2,500 µg biotin and 15 mg zinc per daily dose
- Zinc contributes to the maintenance of normal skin and nails and to the protection of cells from oxidative stress
- Pantothenic acid (vitamin B5) contributes to normal energy-yielding metabolism – 24 mg per daily dose
- Folate has a role in the process of cell division – 600 µg per daily dose
- Plant-based extras: saw palmetto fruit and ginkgo biloba leaf extract, plus keratin, L-cystine and L-methionine
- Easy to fit into your day: two tablets a day, 60 tablets last 30 days
Ingredients in detail
All amounts given refer to the daily dose of two tablets.
Biotin – 2,500 µg (5,000% NRV)
Biotin is a water-soluble B vitamin. Biotin contributes to the maintenance of normal hair and to the maintenance of normal skin and mucous membranes. It also contributes to normal energy-yielding metabolism.
Zinc – 15 mg (150% NRV)
Zinc is an essential trace element. Zinc contributes to the maintenance of normal hair, normal skin and normal nails. Zinc also contributes to the protection of cells from oxidative stress and has a role in the process of cell division.
Pantothenic acid (vitamin B5) – 24 mg (400% NRV)
Pantothenic acid belongs to the B vitamin group. It contributes to normal energy-yielding metabolism. There is no authorised claim for pantothenic acid in relation to hair itself.
Folic acid – 600 µg (300% NRV)
Folic acid is the synthetic form of folate. Folate has a role in the process of cell division. As with the other nutrients here, there is no authorised claim linking folate to hair specifically.
Saw palmetto fruit extract (Serenoa repens) – 300 mg
The single largest individual ingredient in the formula by weight. Saw palmetto is a botanical extract with a long tradition of use, obtained from the fruit of the dwarf palm. No health claim is authorised for saw palmetto in the EU, so we describe it here for what it is: an ingredient in this formula.
Ginkgo biloba leaf extract – 20 mg
An extract from the leaves of the ginkgo tree. As with saw palmetto, no health claim is authorised, so we make no promises about what it does.
Keratin – 20 mg
Keratin is a structural protein. It is part of the formula, though there is no authorised health claim for it.
L-cystine – 40 mg and L-methionine – 40 mg
Two sulphur-containing amino acids. They round out the formula; no authorised health claims are available for either.
Soya isoflavones – 8 mg
A plant-derived ingredient from the soya bean. Contains soya – see the information below.

FAQs
Does Xpecia help with hair loss?
That is not something we are able to promise – or would want to. Xpecia is a food supplement, not a medicine for hair loss. What is permitted and supported is this: biotin and zinc contribute to the maintenance of normal hair. If hair loss is troubling you or has started suddenly, please have it checked by a doctor – no food supplement can replace that.
Is Xpecia an alternative to finasteride or minoxidil?
No. Finasteride and minoxidil are medicines with their own approval process. Xpecia contains neither active ingredient and is not a medicine, but a nutrient supplement. Comparing the two would not be honest.
How long will this pack last?
One pack contains 60 tablets of 600 mg. Taken as two tablets a day, it lasts 30 days. Nutrient supplementation works through consistency, not any single day – how long you keep taking Xpecia is entirely up to you.
Can I use Xpecia alongside other hair care products?
Yes. Xpecia is taken orally and can be combined with your usual scalp and hair care routine.
Does Xpecia contain any allergens?
Yes, the product contains soya (soya isoflavones). Xpecia is not suitable if you have a soya allergy. You’ll find the full ingredients list above under “Good to know”.
