In order to make visiting our website attractive and to enable the use of certain functions, we use cookies, i.e. small text files that are stored on your end device. Some of these cookies are automatically deleted again after the browser is closed (so-called "session cookies"); others remain on your end device for longer and allow page settings to be saved (so-called "persistent cookies"). In the latter case, you can find out the storage period from the overview of the cookie settings of your web browser.
If personal data is also processed by individual cookies used by us, the processing is carried out in accordance with Art. 6 (1) lit. b GDPR either for the performance of the contract, in accordance with Art. 6 (1) lit. a GDPR where consent has been given, or in accordance with Art. 6 (1) lit. f GDPR to safeguard our legitimate interests in the best possible functionality of the website and a customer-friendly and effective design of the page visit.
You can set your browser so that you are informed about the setting of cookies and can decide individually whether to accept them, or can exclude the acceptance of cookies for certain cases or in general.

The legal basis for the processing of this data is our legitimate interest in responding to your enquiry in accordance with Art. 6 (1) lit. f GDPR. If your contact is aimed at concluding a contract, the additional legal basis for the processing is Art. 6 (1) lit. b GDPR. 6) Comment function
Within the scope of the comment function on this website, in addition to your comment, information on the time the comment was created and the commenter name you have chosen are stored and published on this website. Furthermore, your IP address is logged and stored. This storage of the IP address takes place for security reasons and in the event that the data subject violates the rights of third parties or posts unlawful content by submitting a comment. We need your email address in order to contact you if a third party should object to your published content as unlawful.
The legal bases for the storage of your data are Art. 6 (1) lit. b and f GDPR. We reserve the right to delete comments if third parties object to them as unlawful.

After deletion of your customer account, your data will be deleted, provided that all contracts concluded via it have been fully processed, there are no statutory retention periods to the contrary and we have no continuing legitimate interest in further storage.
8) Use of customer data for direct marketing
8.1 Subscription to our email newsletter
If you subscribe to our email newsletter, we will regularly send you information about our offers. The only mandatory information for sending the newsletter is your email address. The provision of further data is voluntary and is used to be able to address you personally. For sending the newsletter, we use the so-called double opt-in procedure, which ensures that you only receive newsletters once you have expressly confirmed your consent to receiving the newsletter by clicking on a verification link sent to the email address provided.
By activating the confirmation link, you give us your consent to the use of your personal data in accordance with Art. 6 (1) lit. a GDPR. In doing so, we store your IP address entered by your internet service provider (ISP) as well as the date and time of registration, in order to be able to trace any possible misuse of your email address at a later date. The data collected by us when you subscribe to the newsletter is used strictly for the intended purpose.
You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time via the link provided for this purpose in the newsletter or by sending a corresponding message to the controller named at the beginning. After unsubscribing, your email address will be deleted from our newsletter distribution list without undue delay, unless you have expressly consented to further use of your data or we reserve the right to use your email address beyond this for advertising purposes, which is permitted by law and about which we inform you in this policy.
After unsubscribing from the newsletter, your email address may be stored in a so-called blocklist and compared from there with recipient lists of future newsletters in order to technically prevent newsletters requiring consent from being sent again. This processing is carried out on the basis of our legitimate interest in avoiding unwanted advertising mailings in accordance with Art. 6 (1) lit. f GDPR.
8.2 Product availability notification by email
For items that are temporarily unavailable, you can register to receive email notifications of product availability. In this case, we will send you a one-time email notifying you of the availability of the item you have selected. The only mandatory information for sending this notification is your email address. The provision of further data is voluntary and may be used to be able to address you personally. For sending the emails, we use the so-called double opt-in procedure, which ensures that you only receive a notification once you have expressly confirmed your consent in this regard by clicking on a verification link sent to the email address provided.
The data collected by us when you register for our email notification service for product availability is used strictly for the intended purpose.
You can unsubscribe from the availability notifications at any time by sending a corresponding message to the controller named at the beginning. After unsubscribing, your email address will be deleted without undue delay from the distribution list set up for this purpose, unless you have expressly consented to further use of your data or we reserve the right to use the data beyond this, which is permitted by law and about which we inform you in this policy.
9) Data processing for order processing
9.1 Insofar as this is necessary for the performance of the contract for delivery and payment purposes, the personal data collected by us will be passed on to the commissioned transport company and the commissioned credit institution in accordance with Art. 6 (1) lit. b GDPR.
If we owe you updates for goods with digital elements or for digital products on the basis of a corresponding contract, we process the contact data you provided when ordering in order to inform you personally within the scope of our statutory information obligations in accordance with Art. 6 (1) lit. c GDPR. Your contact data is used strictly for the purpose of notifications about updates owed by us and is processed by us for this purpose only to the extent necessary for the respective information.
9.2 Disclosure of personal data to shipping service providers
- DHL
We use the following provider as our transport service provider: DHL Paket GmbH, Charles-de-Gaulle-Str. 20, 53113 Bonn, Germany
We pass on your email address and/or telephone number to the provider in accordance with Art. 6 (1) lit. a GDPR before delivery of the goods for the purpose of arranging a delivery date or for delivery notification, provided you have given your express consent to this during the ordering process. Otherwise, for the purpose of delivery in accordance with Art. 6 (1) lit. b GDPR, we only pass on the name of the recipient and the delivery address to the provider. The data is only passed on insofar as this is necessary for the delivery of the goods. In this case, prior arrangement of the delivery date with the provider or delivery notification is not possible.
Consent can be revoked at any time with effect for the future vis-à-vis the controller named above or vis-à-vis the provider.
9.3 Use of payment service providers (payment services)
- Apple Pay
If you choose the payment method "Apple Pay" of Apple Distribution International (Apple), Hollyhill Industrial Estate, Hollyhill, Cork, Ireland, payment is processed via the "Apple Pay" function of your end device running iOS, watchOS or macOS by debiting a payment card stored with "Apple Pay". Apple Pay uses security features integrated into the hardware and software of your device to protect your transactions. To authorise a payment, it is therefore necessary to enter a code previously set by you and to verify using the "Face ID" or "Touch ID" function of your end device.
For the purpose of payment processing, the information you provided during the ordering process, together with the information about your order, is passed on to Apple in encrypted form. Apple then encrypts this data again with a developer-specific key before the data is transmitted to the payment service provider of the payment card stored in Apple Pay in order to carry out the payment. The encryption ensures that only the website through which the purchase was made can access the payment data. After the payment has been made, Apple sends your device account number and a transaction-specific, dynamic security code to the originating website to confirm that the payment was successful.
If personal data is processed during the transmissions described, the processing is carried out exclusively for the purpose of payment processing in accordance with Art. 6 (1) lit. b GDPR.
Apple retains anonymised transaction data, including the approximate purchase amount, the approximate date and time and whether the transaction was completed successfully. Anonymisation completely rules out any personal reference. Apple uses the anonymised data to improve "Apple Pay" and other Apple products and services.
If you use Apple Pay on iPhone or Apple Watch to complete a purchase made via Safari on the Mac, the Mac and the authorising device communicate via an encrypted channel on the Apple servers. Apple does not process or store any of this information in a format that can identify you. You can deactivate the option to use Apple Pay on your Mac in the settings of your iPhone. Go to "Wallet & Apple Pay" and deactivate "Allow Payments on Mac".
Further information on data protection with Apple Pay can be found at the following internet address: https://support.apple.com

10) Web analytics services
10.1 Google Analytics 4
This website uses Google Analytics 4, a web analytics service of Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, 4 Barrow St, Dublin, D04 E5W5, Ireland ("Google"), which enables an analysis of your use of our website.
By default, when you visit the website, Google Analytics 4 sets cookies which are stored as small text modules on your end device and collect certain information. The scope of this information also includes your IP address, which, however, is shortened by Google by the last digits in order to exclude a direct personal reference.
The information is transmitted to Google servers and further processed there. Transfers to Google LLC, based in the USA, are also possible.
Google uses the information collected on our behalf to evaluate your use of the website, to compile reports on website activities for us and to provide further services associated with website use and internet use. The shortened IP address transmitted by your browser within the scope of Google Analytics is not merged with other Google data. The data collected in the course of using Google Analytics 4 is stored for a period of two months and then deleted.
All of the processing described above, in particular the setting of cookies on the end device used, only takes place if you have given us your express consent to this in accordance with Art. 6 (1) lit. a GDPR.
Without your consent, Google Analytics 4 will not be used during your visit to the site. You can revoke your consent at any time with effect for the future. To exercise your right of revocation, please deactivate this service via the "cookie consent tool" provided on the website.
We have concluded a data processing agreement with Google which ensures the protection of the data of our site visitors and prohibits unauthorised disclosure to third parties.
Further legal information on Google Analytics 4 can be found at https://business.safety.google
Demographic characteristics
Google Analytics 4 uses the special function "demographic characteristics" and can use it to create statistics that provide information about the age, gender and interests of site visitors. This is done by analysing advertising and information from third-party providers. This makes it possible to identify target groups for marketing activities. However, the data collected cannot be assigned to any specific person and is deleted after being stored for a period of two months.
Google Signals
As an extension to Google Analytics 4, Google Signals may be used on this website to generate cross-device reports. If you have activated personalised ads and have linked your devices to your Google account, Google may, subject to your consent to the use of Google Analytics in accordance with Art. 6 (1) lit. a GDPR, analyse your usage behaviour across devices and create database models, including on cross-device conversions. We do not receive any personal data from Google, only statistics. If you wish to stop the cross-device analysis, you can deactivate the "Personalised advertising" function in the settings of your Google account. To do so, follow the instructions on this page: https://support.google.com
Further information on Google Signals can be found at the following link: https://support.google.com
UserIDs
As an extension to Google Analytics 4, the "UserIDs" function may be used on this website. If you have consented to the use of Google Analytics 4 in accordance with Art. 6 (1) lit. a GDPR, have set up an account on this website and log in to this account on different devices, your activities, including conversions, can be analysed across devices.

This website uses "Google Tag Manager", a service of the following provider: Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland (hereinafter: "Google").
Google Tag Manager provides a technical basis for bundling various web applications, including tracking and analytics services, and for calibrating, controlling and linking them to conditions via a uniform user interface. Google Tag Manager itself does not store any information on users' end devices or read it from them. Nor does the service carry out any independent data analyses. However, when a page is accessed, Google Tag Manager transmits your IP address to Google, where it may be stored. A transfer to servers of Google LLC in the USA is also possible.
This processing is only carried out if you have given us your express consent to this in accordance with Art. 6 (1) lit. a GDPR. Without this consent, Google Tag Manager will not be used during your visit to the site. You can revoke your consent at any time with effect for the future. 10.3 PayPal Marketing Solutions
This website uses the web analytics service of the following provider: PayPal (Europe) S.à r.l. et Cie, S.C.A., 22-24 Boulevard Royal, L-2449 Luxembourg
With the help of cookies and/or comparable technologies (tracking pixels, web beacons, algorithms for reading end device and browser information), the service collects and stores pseudonymised visitor data, including information about the end device used such as the IP address and browser information, in order to evaluate it for statistical analyses of usage behaviour on our website and to create pseudonymised usage profiles. Among other things, this makes it possible to evaluate movement patterns (so-called heatmaps), which show the duration of page visits and interactions with page content (e.g. text input, scrolling, clicks and mouse-overs). Pseudonymisation generally rules out a direct personal reference. The data is not merged with plain data about your person collected in other ways.
All of the processing described above, in particular the reading or storing of information on the end device used, is only carried out if you have given us your express consent to this in accordance with Art. 6 (1) lit. a GDPR. Any data processing beyond this only takes place if you have agreed with Google that your internet and app browsing history will be linked by Google to your Google account and that information from your Google account will be used to personalise ads that you view on the web. If, in this case, you are logged in to Google during your visit to our website, Google uses your data together with Google Analytics data to create and define target group lists for cross-device remarketing. You can revoke your consent at any time with effect for the future. To exercise your revocation, please deactivate this service in the "cookie consent tool" provided on the website.
For data transfers to the USA, the provider has joined the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, which ensures compliance with the European level of data protection on the basis of an adequacy decision of the European Commission.

13) Tools and miscellaneous
Cookie consent tool
This website uses a so-called "cookie consent tool" to obtain valid user consent for cookies and cookie-based applications that require consent. The "cookie consent tool" is displayed to users when they access the page in the form of an interactive user interface on which consent for certain cookies and/or cookie-based applications can be given by ticking boxes. Through the use of the tool, all cookies/services requiring consent are only loaded if the respective user gives the corresponding consent by ticking the boxes. This ensures that such cookies are only set on the user's respective end device if consent has been given.
The tool sets technically necessary cookies in order to store your cookie preferences. Personal user data is generally not processed in this context.
If, in individual cases, personal data (such as the IP address) is nevertheless processed for the purpose of storing, assigning or logging cookie settings, this is done in accordance with Art. 6 (1) lit. f GDPR on the basis of our legitimate interest in legally compliant, user-specific and user-friendly consent management for cookies and thus in a legally compliant design of our website.
A further legal basis for the processing is Art. 6 (1) lit. c GDPR. As the controller, we are subject to the legal obligation to make the use of technically unnecessary cookies dependent on the respective user's consent.
Where necessary, we have concluded a data processing agreement with the provider which ensures the protection of the data of our site visitors and prohibits unauthorised disclosure to third parties.
